Meet the Horses: Meet the Team

Phoenix is a Lipizzaner Mare with descendants to the Spanish riding school in Vienna, Austria.  Phoenix schools all Grand Prix dressage movements and has competed successfully at FEI levels.  Phoenix has just returned from a winter of training at White Fences, in Wellington FL.  Phoenix is uncomplicated to ride and very willing to work with riders of all abilities.  Phoenix is truly one of a kind and we are proud to have a horse of her caliber as part of Pripet Riding Program.

My Alibi is a Clydesdale Thoroughbred cross mare.  She has been trained and competed through second level dressage at USDF competitions.  One of her competition highlights was first level Jr. Champion Dressage at Saratoga. Ali is perfect for all levels and ages of riders. When she isn’t working hard in lessons, you’ll probably find her taking a nap in her stall!

This is Ravel’s second season with the Pripet riding program! Ravel is a Dutch Warmblood and has competed third level dressage. Ravel spent the winter training in Wellington, Florida with Barton. This handsome horse can make grumpy faces when meeting new people, but is very sweet and talented. Ravel is best with riders that have a skill level of intermediate or above.

Cordoba is a Zangersheide and our resident giant, standing at approximately 17.3 hands tall. This is his second summer with Pripet. Cordoba has competed in Grand Prix jumping in Wellington, Florida and New York. This winter he competed in dressage at the 2020 Global Dressage festival in Wellington with one of our staff members, Shashanna Moll. Cordoba is an extremely sweet horse who loves to work.

This is Moose’s second year at Pripet. He is an Oldenburg and a very sweet boy. He has competed as a hunter/jumper with great success, and won his first global dressage festival with a score of over 70% in 2019. Moose spent this winter training with Barton Patrick in Wellington, Florida.

Kokoa is an Oldenburg gelding and this  is second year on Pripet. Kokoa was a part of the German equestrian team for driving before being imported to the US to begin his dressage training. Kokoa went on to compete and be very competitive at 2nd level dressage. He is very happy to return for a second season with us.
