PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons offer a very individualized experience with one of our knowledgeable instructors. These lessons are perfect for any age or experience level, whether you are looking to try something new, build riding confidence, or seriously hone your skills in the saddle.
We offer dressage lessons and jumping lessons if requested.
1/2 hour: $60
1 hour: $100
GROUP LESSONS
Group lessons allow our clients to learn and challenge themselves, while enjoying the experience with other riders.
The minimum age for group riding lessons is 8 years old.
1 hour: $55 per person
INTERNSHIP
Spend the morning with Barton and staff taking group riding lessons and learning more about horse care, barn management, and team work. The program is designed to provide a unique, individual experience for beginners to seasoned riders.
The Internship program is a comprehensive riding educational program for the more serious equestrian of any age. We offer everything from basic dressage to FEI dressage, jumping,
vaulting, ground work, and magical trail rides. Internship participants enjoy up to two daily group riding lessons as well
as learning about barn management and horse care. Extended day options are also available, please contact Barton for more information.
Cost: $500/week or $100/day
TRAIL RIDING
Looking for a more casual riding experience? Our facilities boast beautiful and well kept trails with views of the Penobscot bay that all levels of rider can enjoy.
Each trail ride includes basic instruction to ensure that each rider can feel comfortable and confident on the trail.
